From mid-Fall until mid-Spring, there is always one pair of snowshoes in the back of my pcikup.

The pair in the middle is what I have but I only use them when the snow is fluffy and deep or has a hard crust on top. In most cases I use cross country skies... less effort needed.

I like the traditional shoes, long one for open country and bear paws for thicker bush. I weave babiche into the rear part so I can always repair my shoes if minor damage occurs.
