    Default My New Dog

    About 2 Weeks Ago I Came Home From Work and Found That My Friend,Buddie,And Family Member Passed away.
    Sammie "Babygirl" Smith Was With Us for Close to 13 Years She Was Part Of Our Family But Others Called Her a Pet .
    She Was Old and Had Been Sick for the Past Month So We Knew It Was Comming
    This Was Sammie When She Was about 10

    After 2 Weeks And a Very Quiet House We Wanted another Dog and A New Member to Add to the Family
    So We Went to the Local Pound and We Are the Proud New Parents Of Nala She's Almost 2 At 1 Year 11 Months
    She's a American Pitbull /Pointer Mix . She's Gental and Loving Here She Is Our New Girl

    She looks like a sweet baby. There is nothing better than a pound dog with mixed lineage. This way she should be a healthy dog not such tight bloodlines. It is amazing how they get in our hearts so quickly.

    Cool. I envy you dog people. I'm an apartment dweller and can only have 10 pounds of pet and even then I have to pay a $100 deposit. On the other hand, that means I get to claim everybody's pet. No danger of mine getting jealous.

    I'm sorry for your loss. They do become a member of the family in short order. You can blame those seat covers on your wife if you want but we know the truth.

    My wife says that we aren't replacing the dog we have. I think she is 8 now. We will see how that works when the dog leaves and I find a new puppy. I told her we will get a pig. That way we only keep it for part of the year, then get a new one the next spring.

    Skinner, I know how you feel on the loss of a family member, and the joy of finding another companion, congrats.
