    Default Bartering or Trading?

    Hello All

I about to start bartering for several items i don't use anymore to get new stuff. In this way i think i can reduce my living costs and i can survive the tough times!
What do you think of bartering? I recently discovered a new website which is called *************** where i can exchange items and services for free!
There are also several websites where i can trade as well my old stuff but i believe that bartering is faster and more sustainable! Do you agree?

Have done trades and bartering all my life on a one on one basis.....personally I would not depend on the interweb....I like to see what I'm dealing with

If times are bad, I believe that there will be limited interweb, cell service, and GPS that functions, and would not stake my fortunes on them.

Best to practice basic skills and that includes face to face contact....rather that a text....
So no, I do not agree....
    But that is just me.

As you can see, I've removed your link for the time being. Yes, many here like to barter.

I didn't look at it, so I guess this was kinda spammy?

My opinion is still the same.

I'd say bartering accounts for about 15+% of my purchases....but alas...FTF is the only way to keep from getting screwed....IMO.

Don't quote me on this but I've heard bartering is popular in Greece so you shouldn't have any trouble.

How about skipping over to the introduction section and telling us a bit about yourself, what planet you reside on and your skill level.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

I sell some watches and knives on the side; very low profile. I have bartered, as well.
I have a small nylon bag with my getup stuff, and I plan to toss a ittle inventory in there, for bartering.

I forgot to touch base on that one in my introduction. I do not choose a planet to reside on, rather I go where ever the mother ship takes me. For now, it is here.

Don't believe anything they tell you on the Mother Ship!!!

They told me they were just letting me off for icecream and they would be right back. That was 60 years ago and they are still ignoring the flashlight signals.
