Default REVOLUTION??? Realy?

I don't think this new show Revolution is going to make it. The pilot was too vague and everyone has on new clothes. The electricity has been off for 15 years. I guess I need to watch next week to see what else doesn't make sense.

You're not supposed to notice things like that. NBC can't afford a prime-time audience who think while they watch... Come to think of it, they aren't the only ones.

This pilot slipped by me.

I see that the critics do not like the show but they are not trashing it either.

This group has been outmaneuvered by the viewing public more than once and they seem to remember trashing the first year of the LOST series, then having to eat their worlds. They did pull 10,000,000 viewers so they outdid several well hyped events of late.

As for the condition of the clohing, bla, bla, bla,,, people had new clothing before electicity was in serious use and they will have such after it goes out. If someone has not learned how to use a needle and thread or convert an electric sewing machine to treddle power in 15 years we eally have dropped a few IQ points.

And it is a fantacy; they also have crossbow armed vixens, magic necklaces, ninjas, and a bunch of whimpy men being led around by the "noise". They seriously lack anyone that can take a piece of waterpipe, make a handfull of black powder and combine the two.

Think about it, the lack of firearms might be viewed as conditionaing the prepper population to the thoughts that they can survive without firearms.

If the show were what WE think it should be no one would watch it.

How long did Jerico last?
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

I watched the first episode and I liked it. We'll see how it pans out and if time allows I'll give it a chance.

I just finished watching it on line. The clothing thing didn't bother me. There was quite a bit of leather being worn and the other clothing - much of it looked hand sewn.

I have clothes I still wear from 15 years ago, but of course they are completely worn out and are very comfortable. I also have new clothes that I still have not worn from about 10 years ago. Yes, I do know a disaster of epic proportion happened, but if they are still living in houses that happened before the event that are still in good condition, why could they not have clothes as well?

As with all these shows, there will be a certain amount of poetic license......
Seems we can't wait to watch these shows so we can pick them apart.

I haven't picked out my "apocalypse outfit" yet....maybe I should give it some thought.....Wouldn't want to get caught in my 'jammies"
Anyway....
Haven't seen it yet, but I'll reserve judgment, until it runs awhile.

It kind of reminded me of a show that got pulled a few years ago (Jericho) that I enjoyed. Guess not enough people liked it.

Well, you know the serious people will say the outfit you have on when disaster strikes and then you will have the other people that want a mech suit.

Not long enough.

The Revolution pilot was "OK" but they need to up the plot, If it is going to last. The Idea is good----- medium to mild execution

To me it's Jericho 2.0. Whoa there's someone that communicates with others via a computer that the rest of the cast doesn't know about.....

I honestly liked Jericho and was sad to see it end.
