    Left to right: custom 7" blade BRUTE - 1/4" O1, BRUTE 1/4 O1, Big Bend 3/16 O1 (Eli's new knife), Bushcraft 5/32 O1 and Bushcraft jr 1/8 O1

    I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

    Balance? Weight forward, weight aft, neutral balance, center of gravity point all changes depending on the user and what task is at hand. The customer requested 1/4" stock for this one. I normally use 3/16. Beyond reducing material thickness, the best way to reduce (perceived) weight is to develop some grip strength - rock climbing and pull ups work best - lol.
