I'm EXCELLENT at Step 1.
Not so much at Step 2. anymore!
Other than that that's my plan too. And hey, if there isn't a Hurricane coming to hit Arkansas well..........it's 5:00 O Clock somewhere!

Ya see....I call myself getting older and wiser. My old plan, being a life long east coaster, was grab beer and hold on.

You hit THAT nail square on the head. I grew up along the central Gulf Coast. The first big one I remember was Audrey (1957), followed by Betsy (1965), Camille (1969), Eloise (1975), Frederic (1979), and Elena (1985). There were others, but these will do nicely.
We moved to SoCal in 1988, but still had relatives on the Gulf Coast for Danny (1997) and the one-two punch of Dennis and Katrina (2005). While I appreciate the diabolical artistry of some hurricane humor, I don't really enjoy it.
While it isn't a hurricane. Isaac is playing hell on some people's opening archery plans this weekend. My brother and dad are already at camp and I am leaving in the morning.
My brother took the week off to chase tail in the swamp. Since I am in charge of all outside crews. I decided that the weather was going to be bad to work on Monday. But, not too bad to hunt. LOL
I'll drive out to the road some time Monday till I get a signal and see if Tuesday is a wash also.
