Daniel is absolutely correct about relying on gubmint during and after a disaster, let alone trusting them with my stuff. As a former County Emergency Management Director in the FL panhandle (& several hurricanes, etc.), I assure you Daniel knows of which he speaks.

Well we have to trust the government with some things, like social security, welfare, medicade etc, no choice. But there is absolutely no way I would trust them with my preps, when times got really bad, that's when the people in charge would help themselves just like they do with our taxes and government aid programs.
