As my eyes go to crap, I personally find iron sights better. I have a restricted range here due to brush.
I traded my beloved Sarah (Ruger M77 Stainless, .243 Win, w/ houge over-molded stock and Leupold Vary X II, 3x9) for a serious, and long wanted Marlin guide gun in 45-70.
My first dedicated brush gun. It will kill anything. It's small. And it has enough room on the stock to engrave the name "Kelly".
Welcome her into the fold.

I have wanted one for 15 yrs. I'll be shooting only the 405 gr lead as soon as I burn up the expensive rounds it came with.
I'm currently dehorning it as we speak/type. Factory edges are sharp.
EDIT- dehorning is differant than dehoring, somehow.
