    Default came here to learn

hi, Central North Central North Dakota...were survival is essential, early in the morning and just getting started but will eventually have enough time to sit for about an hour and share,,, I am not a city girl but also am not a country girl..married for 12 years and got my eyes opened in oh about 2005 and 2008 long story..I guess you can say survival is learned through each daily experience depending on what goes wrong that day and the next and so on..
what i cant learn from the other forums I believe can be learned here just from what I've seen,, I'm 55 and realize buggin out may be the necessary move in the long run..we plan on literally hoofin if necessary,,manes and tails accounted for.. only two weapons functional,,, mossberg 12 gage that takes all three shells and a savage 30-06 with a scope, bolt action,, wish I had a revolver but the doors arent open yet..
things may have hit the fan here and we are preparing to pare down discard and downsize just to survive..and get to point b..not discouraged but right now in limbo as hubby has hurt his arm and work and workman's comp is what it is,, we dont know if he will get it..looks cloudy...we'll head west if and when we have to bug out, maps at the ready

Welcome from Wyoming. My wife is from ND. Born on the farm. The herd got Bangs (Brucellosis) and her father was hospitalized with Undulant fever. As a result they lost the farm and had to ‘bug out’ so to speak, though the term had not probably came into use in the early 1950’s. Turned out it probably was one of the better things to happen to her father, starting over on the road. Thirty years later he was managing a new oil refinery that he had a hand in planning and constructing. One never knows what life will bring. Good luck.

"I enjoy surviving." Yes, well I certainly hope so as the other side of that is "DEATH!"

    Welcome to WSF.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.
