I saw what we did to those things in the sandbox. More to the point, what happened to the guys inside. Don't want one.

Ever see the video "Wings over the Gulf".?
The A10 warthogs were using the infrared detecting missile to tell if the tank was "hot" or not......buzz them to give guys a chance to bail.....then tore the tank to pieces with the cannon.

Maybe the best thing would be carry a bunch of different flags. Check out the markings on the plane, quickly go through the flags, pull out the correct one (key procedure here) and begin waving.

Sorry, it arent bulletproof but if I wanted my go anywhere vehicle I would still vote Unimog. I have been in one a few times offroad, makes a Hummer look like a skateboard. I have been in a Hummer as well, it was a blast.

Hummer. went for a ride with a prize winning race driver at the helm over an MX track in Calgary a few years back. The Unimig was a friends ride, went for a few leisurely rides off road in different situations, basic word is almost unstoppable.

Unimog is a nice vehicle. It incorporates portal gears, which I'm surprised the U.S. hasn't used. Gives a much high ground clearance than axles. Plus they are versatile as all get out. There are loads of accessories for them from snow blowers to backhoes.

Humvees used a portal box as well.

actually thats next to an H2 Hummer, basically a Tahoe with a body kit. To be fair they should have used an H1 at least.

I'll take a Minewolf, thanks. For all your ordinance removal, anti-IED, and zombie pulping needs. Add a proper sleeper cab, MG turret and some gun ports to knock off those pesky hitchhikers, I think it would make a DANDY apocalypse ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agsIcWKt7kw
