Default If you were to get one gun for free...

    Which one would it be?
Mine would be an AR10A4 with Short stroke gas piston modification for less maintenance.

There are tons of threads on the best weapon and even a few on winning weapons. It sort of depends on what you want the weapon to do and where you plan to use it. A lot of differences between plinking tin cans and elephant hunting. From being able to get the job done, to the cost of shooting, to how much ammo you can carry.

I would like a rifle made by Hacker Martin or something made by Freund brothers, maybe one of their lever converted remington rolling blocks.

If I had one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

One gun? I would certainly want a trader.

It doesn't matter since I'll just lose it in a canoe accident anyway.

You'll have to define those terms AFL, the OP is an AR shooter, it is doubtful he will know what a drilling is.
