Default Hi ya'al fm Southern Indiana

The last forum I was on suddenly disappeared. Took a while to find another with people with a sense of humor. I've been lurking for about a week and like what I see. I spent 35 years servicing weird reproduction (copy) equipment. In between there I was a volunteer fire rescue for 28 yrs. I have done just about every thing except get a deer. I hunted So Ind on and off since a teenager without even getting a shot. Oh I saw plenty, but sure enjoyed the woods. At this point in life I'm too old to walk the woods any more. I'm at the point of down sizing every thing.

Hello Bill, welcome to the forum from Evansville.
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

Welcome home. I spend a lot of time tromping So. Indiana. Deem Wilderness is one of my favorite spots and have given my best efforts more than a few times to Knobstone Trail. Places like Yellowood, Greene-Sullivan, Pike and Clark are some pretty good forests, too.

    Thanks guys and gal.
Glad to find what appears to be a find site. Seems some of you are not to distance as I'm just about 10 miles West of Louisville Ky. I too used to spend time at the Clark forest when I was a young'n. We used to go there fishing and camping quite a bit. Course that was back in the dark ages. Lol I enjoyed that other site so much that I had withdrawal problems when it disappeared. I'm sure I will enjoy this one as there appears to be some of the same gang here.

Welcome from another southern hoosier native, the CLark forestry is literally out my front door, but a bunch of the trails have been closed off until the trees from the tornado are cleared off, parts of the forestry received substantial damage that day
