I have a buddy who cut his hair when his mom got cancer to make her a wig. I kept a tiny bit and made a short piece of cordage out of it and gave it to him. He's now my "cordage instructor". Hair makes strong cordage of small diameter.

I doubt more than a handful of you have been around since I was last really active. But I am putting it up because there is a very ostentatiously missing face and who would I be to call someone out if I didnt put mine up. I couldnt believe that I had to dig through so many pages for nothing because he didnt put his up in the beginning when this thing got started or when it was made a sticky at the latest. Where is the old guard dog?

Hey there Spiritman welcome back. As you can see, I've edited your post. If you want to go away for a year and then come back and "call out" another member, it may be best to do it via PM. Regardless - It is clear that actions of at least one have bothered you for quite some time. I suppose that you can add me to the list of Moderators that edit posts. BTW - I'm not as tolerant of buffoonery as the person you called out.

I made a reference to both of you sarge but I knew he would be gone and you would not. The zoo is always fun and this year they had a lot of baby animals including an elephant which is my wifes favorite.

As for editing my post... Noted, and I cant say it wasn't deserved because I was deliberately stirring an old pot of poop. I will keep any "cheek" more subtle.

The Forums have grown & matured in your absence, we now have 2 moderators & a former mod turned administrator. Anything considered "flaming" is edited out. repeat offenses gets the offender banned right away. For the record, I do very little of the banning, just gettin' too old to keep up with these young'uns I guess!

Anyway, you might check out "FinallyME" as he's from your neck of the woods also!

Newer picture of me. It was taken in early December of '09. It was -20 at the time of the picture. I was riding back up guide on a trip up the Yetna river.
