    Hi, my name is mountainmark and I am a recovering survivaltopics junkie. I am from New Hampshire. I make cheese for a living. I'm a farmer, a hunter, a fisherman, an outdoorsman and an avid collector of wild plants and mushrooms. I look forward to spending some time withyou on this wonderful looking forum to discuss related issues. Thanks for taking all us refugees onboard with you.

    Thanks everyone for the welcome! Very glad to be here. This place is actually more in line with my interests it seems. More woodsy and less political. Not that I don't have political opinions but.....you know what I mean.

    Rick- My ticket got eaten by a cow....I'll go get it.....

    CGU- "cheesedude" does have a certain ring to it. It seems there are no lack of wilderness types here and I may get lost in the crowd. On the other hand, cheesemakers are in short commodity. Lol

    Sourdough- I have heard that redback voles only eat shrubs berries and roots. Are you sure you want to risk giving one of those cute little critters a belly ache?
