    Default Solar Geek checking in!

    Hi All! I was introduced to this great forum only last night and am looking forward to learning from all of you. I am a wife, mom, major gardener (although we are just moving into our new place this week -yikes! so no garden there yet) and try to be a prepper. I have worked in the environmental area for about 20 years and as my site name indicates, our family has been active in the solar arena by living in a solar powered/heated log home for 6 years and our new home will be solar powered and heated with wood and passive solar.

    I am looking to learn to hunt; get better at fishing and to really get to know the woods better (BUT NOT TICKS!)
    But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15

    No, I think she was referring to another forum on which we all were members. I have only been able to visit 2 subs; never in the service. Crash was/is on that other forum as well. He is how I found this place.

    Unfortunately, our buyer walked away 2 days before our move
    So we can only move up boxes and live very strangely at new place. Now tied to 2 year rental when we still have condo payment. Not very great I am afraid. On happier front new BOL is great!
