Default Heck of a yard sale find.

Saturday morning wife and i decided to hit a few yard sales. Last one we went to of all things you'd think of finding at a yard sale was a Coleman pop-up camper. Even though it's an older one (1985) it's in great shape. Needs a little cosmetic work but for $275. I didn't expect perfect. I'll try to post a couple of pics in the next day or so. I'm really excited to get it set up with some of the bug out stuff I've kept in my vehicle and it will be easy to hook and go in an emergency.
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

Here's some parts for you. Yeah, it ain't cheap. Custom fabrication might be less expensive.

Sheesh Rick, he barely posted any info and no pics and you have every little thing for him in under 30 minutes! Switch to decaf, man!

On a bright note for OldSoldier, I think he has a volunteer to help him

Ya, he should rope Rick into helping him plus he will work for Twinkies....

Great find!....I would have bought that in a heart beat!

For that kind of money, if too trashed, would make a great trailer stripped down........I'm kind of a trailer guy.....have bought, traded, picked up, rebuilt, sold, converted, gave away and generally have 7 or 8 trailers around at any given time.

Yep that's the one. LOL The people who had this one had the owners manual, all the paperwork, even the dealer tag w/ price ($412.95) from when they bought it new. But thanks for thr digital version I'll add it to my emergency files.

Welllllll...................... Seems like sombody "mysteriously" called the tow yard and "released" the jeep before the inspector looked at it and now all I have to go on is the police/fire department reports. Talking to the tow yard he said he assumed it was the insurance company that did it. So I may get screwed. Personally I think the Insurance adjuster had someone call so they would have an excuse to get out of the claim.

If you have an attorney have him subpoena the phone records of the tow yard. Then you'll know who called.

    Nice find !
Nowhere at present is there such a measureless loathing of their country by educated people as in America. Eric Hoffer
