    Default Zucchini

    Why ain't mine workin'??
    Big healthy plants, lots of blooms but they fall and no vegi.
    I even try cross pollenating all the blooms in the AM. but no good. Been two months??

    The blossoms falling off are probably the male blossoms. The plants will produce male and female blossoms, but only the female blossoms will produce zucchini.



    and of course you know how to tell the male from the female blossoms?



    pull down it's genes.

    You are so bad....

    The male flower grows on the end of the stem. The female flower has a small bud at the base that becomes the zucchini. Here's a pic to show the difference.
