    GLACIER (top):
    1095" 5/32 (57-59 HRC), 8" OAL, 3.5"x 1.5" saber bevel blade. OD and Brown G10 scales, corby bolts, parkerized.

    CHUPACABRA :
    1095, 8.75" OAL. 4" x 1.75 x 5/32 saber bevel, Parkerized. Corby bolts, OD & Tan G10 and flared tube.

    Nice work, I like the parkerized finish. Care to share the process you use?
    Keep in mind the problem may be extremely complicated, though the "Fix" is often simple...

    1. bead blast heat treated blade
    2. clean blade thoroughly then submerge blade in 170 degree parkerizing solution (http://www.amazon.com/DuraCoat-Phosp.../dp/B000M66VYQ) for 10-20 mins
    3. remove blade and wash with soap and water
    4. dry blade and apply a penetrating protectant oil designed for parkerized steel

    Really clean work in functional looking designs.
    I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.
