Default Hey Y'all from Gulf Coast of Mexico

    Big Hello to everyone.

Technical diffculties on another site helped me find my way here this morn.

Just wanted to make a quick intro. See lots of familiar "faces" here.

I live down on the Gulf, south of Tampa.

I grew up on a family farm in the catskills of upstate New York. I hope to die on one someday.

Got my first real education in life with the United States Marines (2/5 fox co.).
After that did the college thing at Syracuse Univ where I met my wife of almost 18 year's now. Been living in Florida for 17 of those years. Almost a Cracker by default. Although my Bud's born and raised down here will always consider me a Yankee, even if I can whoop em'. I never really considered myself a prepper. Just raised that way I suppose. Alway's taught that 1 is NONE, 2 is 1, 3 for me!

I Fish and Hunt for the table. I have really gotten in to Gardening the last couple year's. I like to shoot. I am a 1911 man. I believe in the right to protect one's self and family. My handle is 0331exmc. I was a Heavy Machine Gunner thru Desert Storm. And yeah I know there are NO "EX" Marines. So, Devil Dogs, don't take it personal.

I believe in order to tell when a Politician is lying to you, all ya got to do is look to see their if their lips are movin. I feel that when the SHTF we will all be left to our own devices. I think there is strength in number's, and you should only surround yourself with those you love and trust with your life. Other's are not welcome.

I don't have a clue as to what it's really gonna take to turn this country around. And as much as it scares the dickin's out of me I know the worst has yet to come. That's why I practice what I Preach. Now is the time to learn the things that your gonna need to thrive. Water, Fire, Shelter, Protection, Food. In that order.

I so look forward to learning from you all.

Wishing Y'all Great Days Ahead, Rick

Welcome. You sure resemble the English Mastiff that owns me!!!!

BTW, I have two rather rural vacant lots in Delaware County near Andes and Harpersfield, respectively, that I'm thinking about selling (for when you go back?).
