I do but I prefer the manly art of sending 23 Yapese stick fighting warriors to your house.

A pal of mine told me that the, only way someone can legally possess a beaver carcass is with a trapper license.
    I deleted everything from Facebook.
The ironic part is, I have the potential to be in more trouble from this beaver, than any other beaver I have ever encountered

Here is a traditional frame that is made out of a sapling. Just formed in a circle and then use leather laces(rawhide) or some light cordage to lace the hide to this frame. You can make it out of square boards if you need to.
The tail can be tanned and used for leather but it is a real pain because it has so much fat in it.

You can click on the photo to see what they look like. I have to figure this photo thing out here.

use a half a sheet of plywood. Lay the skin fur side down, centered up on the board. Nail the nose, pull tight and nail the tail, pull the left side and nail the center, pull the right side and nail the center. Then nail a nail in between those four nails and keep pulling the edge and nailing the hide whilst maintaining a oval shape. you can either sew the leg holes or pinch them together and nail the leg holes to the board. As far as salting goes I can't advise you on that, I won't salt my hides.

Just bought plywood. This kicks ***.
Do I still any holes in it so the other side can get air?

Also, I found that when I washed my hands afterwards with dish soap, pine sol, bleach, pine sol (lemon scented), dry em off, Irish spring, then a girly lotion the he smell is gone

make sure the fur is dry before stretching, use a shop vac or hair dryer. After you nail it down (use long nails 10 penny) the hide is pulled up from the plywood so air can circulate between the plywood and the hair. The nails are drove in a little ways.

16s should be fine. if the fur is dry there's no need to shop vac it.

This is really hard. There's probably about a pound of meat on it.
I need to get all of it off right?
I have it stretched while I'm shaving off the rest

I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Salt it so it'll harden and shrink away from the hide.
