2. The words Florida and Mountains should never appear together in a single sentence. [I grew up on the Gulf coast, and have the scars to prove it!]
er When I read that title I thought wait a minute there are no mountains in FL. Belieive me I have traveled all over that state and there is nothing but flat land.

Up close to Lake Wales FL, there is the highest spot in Florida, and it is just a hill, but everybody around there calls it a mountain. My son showed it to me and called it a mountain and i just laughed!
The rest of the world calls them an overpass.
