Thread: Hello,

    Default Hello,

I am a new comer here and hope to learn some new skills. I have backpacked and camped most of my life. As a kid we built shelters we called "Hogans" to camp in. I spent most of my childhood playing in the woods and trying to replicate different Indian skills I had read about. Now that I have retired I hope to try to glean new knowledge from the kind folks on this website and rekindle my passion for learning primitive skills.

    Welcome to WSF.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

    Howdy from the Hoosier state!
"Freedom had been hunted round the globe; reason was considered as rebellion; and the slavery of fear had made men afraid to think. But such is the irresistible nature of truth, that all it asks, and all it wants, is the liberty of appearing."
