Smile the way of the wilderness

The true way of the wilderness is.....
knowing nature is cruel and unforgiving
knowing how to learn from your mistakes and other peoples mistakes though out history
    knowing how to improvsie
knowing that you must do what must be done
doing what must be done to survive
always learning and evoling into the person you want to become
    having true resoucrefulness
    dealing with hard times
That in my opion is the way of the wilderness and i would much rather be called crazy or even worst that not know the way of the wilderness because when i look back at my life i wanna be able to say ''i'v lived a full life without regrets''

I'm thinking that a lot of people would agree with those words....
What are you basing your philosophy on?

I disagree with the idea that nature is cruel. To impose such a concept on something that has existed way longer than man is absurd. Unforgiving, yes. Cruel, no. If it were cruel, nobody would survive.

I love just going out into the bush, by myself for weeks at a time. I don't think nature is cruel, or kind. It is just what it is, and you have what you have and that is all there is to it.

Nature is nature. It's neither cruel nor unforgiving. It just is. If a lion brings down a gazelle it's just life. Dinner for the lion. A bad day for the gazelle. But, your perception is your own. If that's the way you see then it works for me.

She is a 13 year old LADY, give her some slack, or I will have to come to America and put some Woop'arse on you guys.

Young Lady, Just follow your heart and you will be fine.

I for one would like to hear your dreams, and what calls you to the wilderness.....?

Very good start. Resourcefulness will get you far in the world :-)

Indeed, natural can seem cruel depending upon perspective. When things go our way then nature seems beautiful. When things go against us then nature seems cruel.

Well now, I feel like "I have been to the mountain and heard the word"....or at least sat on a bar stool next to someone with these revelations?

It's how you reward your kids. Of course, I'm not going out until I've spent the last nickel. My kids would just spend it on necessities. I'm gonna spend it where it will account for something. Booze and women. Not necessarily in that order. Then when I go out I'll have lived a life fulfilled. Or full. Or filled. Or with cash. Can a guy get a beer over here? What's the hold up?

The best collection what I've seen! And another item: respect for the nature and wild.

I like the part about being called crazy. Just a few days ago I was called "a creature of a different color".

    I can live with that.
