    Default Checking in from Alberta

    Hello all,

I want to say right off that it is a pleasure to be here, and I hope to be as active as I can.

I'm BrianP and I am in Southern Alberta, Canada. Right now I am operating a wilderness medical company and a training venue for wilderness survival and first aid. Finally, my dream job has arrived.

I have been a member of the hoodlums, and of Dirt Time for a while and figured it only proper to join here to socialize with as many like minded people as I can, and hopefully learn a few things to boot.

I guess, apart from self employment, I can be considered a retiree, having finished a nice career in law enforcement, and before that an interesting period as an Infantryman. Being brought up with a close relationship to the bush it was only natural that I leaned toward a life enjoying it. I have been qualified as a Paramedic, Instructor, and examiner in both wilderness and urban medicine and am proud to be a member of the Wilderness Medical Society.

Spending my time between running classes and hanging out in the Rockies, I think I have found the perfect part of heaven...and I feel this forum will make it even more perfect.

    See you around...
    BrianP
