Thank you all. The Parkerizing is pretty (you guessed it) simple. Get some parkerizing solution (Amazon), heat it to 160 or so, immerse a bead or sand blasted blade into the solution - when the chemical reaction (bubbles) stop, remove the blade, wash in clean water and soap, thoroughly dry the blade and apply a penetrating oil protectant designed for parkerized steel.
