    Hi I am new to this forum but have been learning about wilderness survival for some time now and would love to meet like minded people here in phoenix, az area to meet up with and go to the wild and test our skills.

    Don't be surprised if you receive some less than receptive answers. Meeting a stranger to go to the wilds with is probably not the safest thing to do for either the person posting the request or anyone responding.

    Hello and welcome.

    It may be best to get involved in the forum so that people can get to know you a little better. Granted, that's not a guarantee of success with the anonymity of the Internet, but right now nobody knows if you are like minded with them or not. Several of us go to meet and greets, but it takes a little more than a single post like on meetup.com
