Default A very limited window into the front room of my life.

    Hello,

Figured since I'm gonna occasionally ask stuff, speak up in a few conversations and read everybody elses deep thoughts I could at least have the grace to say hello. My name is Rebecca. I am a stiffled homesteader, living very unhappily in the middle of town in a mobile home park with no yard and no escape. We are planning to move come summer, don't know where just yet, but outta here! Oh, to build my own home on some land somewhere and have chickens and goats and a big garden, and a little dungeon(don't ask if you don't wanna know). I wanna eat what I grow and wear what I make and live in what I build and support myself with my own two hands and God's Green Earth. The rest gets incredibly complicated but interesting if you are in for a ride.

its alot harder than it looks , if you think life sucks in the trailer park , homesteading will probably not be your cup of tea, your gonna need money , to buy the land (i dont know of any place where homesteading is still free) ,goats and chickens cost money and you need to care for them ,building materials cost money , tools cost money , unless you plan on learning primitive skills and plan to utilize those skills making shelter (all very hard work) , it all sounds great but what your looking for isnt the solution you want !

Hi ya, Rebecca! I'm not here often, but I look forward to what you will contribute.
