    Default EDC, Hermit style

If you want to know what you REALLY need to survive for 3 decades in the wild, look no further than the guy in Maine, recently arrested for stealing from a kids camp. I never thought of carrying bacon with me! That should be in the 10 essentials.

Don't think I'd want to follow his lead at all, considering that being a lowlife, sneaky parasite is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of the self sufficiency I'm seeking.

Caviar. Don't forget the caviar. Duck pate gets boring after a while.

Sturgeon caviar is great. Too bad that RandyRhoads line snapped when he hooked that big sturgeon yesterday.

    Ha, smart guy!

Since his arrest, Knight has attracted a telephoned marriage proposal and a stranger's offer to bail him out. Knight rejected the bail offer and remains jailed.

Bacon used to be one of the essentials. Still is , if'n you ask me.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Hold the truck. The guy commits 1000 burglaries and he gets a stern talking to? Next time I need a new grill or lawn mower I'm heading to Maine to find one.
