Got my clothes line put up last weekend and have been doing laundry at home ever since, happily! I seem to be stuck at the -20 lb mark, just hanging right around there for the last week or so and it is frustrating me to no end. I'm going to try upping my protein and see if that doesn't break the stall. I'm planning some extended back packing this summer. I'm also going down to kick around Homer and the Kenai Penninsula. I haven't ever ventured down there as of yet.

It doesn't get better than that, and it looks delicious.

I have found that when you hit a "stall point" a protien shock will knock you off the plateau.

I am down 60 pounds since last September on a high protien/low carb plan.

I only miss the icecream....and the bread and the bagles and toast and....

But I get to stay alive, my blood preasure is back in control, and I am not worried about type 2 diabeties as much as I was before.

I also dropped 6 inches on the pants size and I can walk to the lake and back without stopping for a nitro pill break.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Nope. I use Tom's Cajun seasoning as it doesn't have salt in it. I also use Braggs Amino acids as it has a bit of a salty flavor. No sugars either other then the natural occurring sugar in the strawberries.

Yep when I move into the next phase of this diet here in a few days, I can do a steak day if I go over my last day weight. I think I need to up my protein now though to break this stall. I want to hit -25 at least before going into the next phase. The next phase lasts 3 weeks and involves adding back in fats and oils. This is to reset they hypothalamus.

Lol thanks. It's so much better then what I had today. An apple for breakfast, 16 shrimp (100 grams) and a cucumber for lunch, 100 grams of extra lean hamburger cooked and rinsed and cooked some more over a bed of lettuce for dinner. And one small chocolate chip cookie. Hahahha. I'm not normally one for sweets but couldn't pass it up.

Sorry for the late reply! Last weekend was a lot of work doing chores here on the farm. Right now the girls are packing us up, and we are going away for 10 days. House sitter is here and we leave in the morning, We are going to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Savanah Georgia. We are staying with friends in the Carolinas, and staying at the Marshall House in Savanah. the Marshall house is a very high end hotel, and it's haunted. Plus Savanah is a wonderful city with a huge amount of fine restaurants. I am glad the girls are slim because they are going to gain at least 1o pounds in 4 days.
In Savanah we are just going to take in the city, food, shops, and some of the coastline. We are basically going to pamper ourselves and relax! So I wont be on much for the next 10 days but I will try to check in when I can on my smart phone.

Oh have a wonderful time. That part of the country is lovely and so rich in history. Good luck with the ghost hunting.

So, what's everyone else's weekend plans? Today is the kids' last day of school. I am thankful it's over! I must pay some attention to my housework. Having kids and working full time, well, housework normally is put off a bit till Friday night. Oh I lead such a wild life hahaha, Friday night dishes and laundry! WOOT, turn up the music! On the other hand, we have a full Saturday planned. Sat. morning early, aviation appreciation day and pancake breakfast at the airport. Kids are getting a ride, maybe mamma will too. Afterwards Fish and Game is sponsoring a kid's fishing day that also includes a gun safety course where they get to shoot different guns etc. I also have a coffee date, blind date. We'll see but I don't have much hope for any type of sparks happening.

Chores, chores and more chores. Then, work/work. (office)
All, hopefully, so I can have a worry-free Memorial day weekend.

A 5 year old baseball game tomorrow morning and Sunday I'm going to an open house for a special needs young man graduating from high school. He went to Prom this year. He escorted his cousin who is a physical therapist and an all around good sport. Obviously, several years older than him. So, this week-end should be a fun one.
