Default Hi, been doing this for awhile now..

I am a city dweller, not by choice but rather by compromise. Married and the Mrs. wanted to be near ammenities. When we had settled here, I had wanted at least 5 acres away from cities and towns but that option had escaped me at the time. I enjoy camping, fishing and view outdoor survival as a necessary knowledge commensurate with some of the activities I like to do in the wilderness. We live in proximity to the outdoors and that proximity has worked out well for us as we have access to the wilderness at least and venture there as often as is practical.

Presently I am looking for a cargo van in 4X4 configuration, or can be converted to that, one of the longer ones for the sake of having the extra space. With that vehicle I am planning on using it to pursue my ventures amongst the trees in the Pacific Northwest. I am completely set up to hoof it but as I am older now appreciate an easier traverse to discoveries.

Over the last year I have been learning a lot from the posts offered at Survival.net/forums by the various members. Practice and use of the methods has given me a confidence that is different and unequaled from the counterpart residents I am surrounded by.

    Sup dude. 78910.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

Welcome RidgeWolf, glad to see you're still doing it....surviving.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
