    Default New Sub-forum

I'm asking if we could get a forum called something like "The Workbench" or "The Craftshop" a place to discuss things like making your own knife from files, or forging them, or from saw blades like Kid does, or making things like bags, stoves, or other items for survival.

I made it a poll so I would know I'm not the only one wanting it.

wouldn't this be like the "primitive technology" forums though? cause that is pretty much what it is. I suppose this would be more of an advanced version then or something

Like myself, the Kid uses power tools and Saw blades to create his knives, etc.

    That's not primitive technology.

I make my own chisels and carving knives. I generally make anything I can't beg, borrow or steal mainly because I am cheap and I could use some pointers cause I can't run fast enough to steal anymore.

Alright, I suppose this section would be a good idea. It would be helpful for me as well because I like knowing how to make stuff.

SO....in about well less than five minutes, I've seen threads on making electricity, the fact that some of us are making knives out of saw blades, hence not primitive technology, and a request on making snowshoes. Wouldn't all of those items be a perfect fit for the sub-forum as requested? Isn't that the kind of thing we're talking about?
