    Default Another Almost Done

One of the drawbacks to doing a lot of my knife work outdoors is the weather. The bands of rain we've gotten and will continue to bet for a few days have been quite impressive. Here's the one I'm working on now. Instead of puttin a liner on it, I wanted to see how making the Crashcarta with a few layers of red instead looked. It's not quite a bright as liner material, and I shoul thin then next one I make some (made two this thickness), but all in all it came out OK.

Nice one. One small gap on the scales. Super glue will fit that.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Actually I like that better than the liners. Another great knife!

Finished up the sheath today. Also added a retention lanyard for the firesteel.

That really turned out snazzy. That's a great set right there. Do you add a dye to the epoxy for the puppy paw?

I add a couple of drops of acrylic paint to color the epoxy.
