Thread: What a day!

    Default What a day!

We canceled a run up to camp in Corbett because the weather was real bad. We decided to try the Florida Sportsmen Conservation annual. It was muddy and after we almost got stuck at the gate they moved the gate. It was a little slow and lightning so we decided to go to Gander Mountain and come back later. I did buy my first Glock a G34.

Then we went in and to their restaurant to have a bite to eat. I was going to get the Elk meal. Then my brother showed me the eat the Oh My God wings and they are free. I also had a half off appetizer coupon from the gun purchase. So we went in and I ordered the sampler appetizer which is catfish filet fried, gator bites, and frog legs. I also ordered the wings.

I knew after eating one wing that I didn't want to eat another. They were using an Olioresin extract. I eat teaspoons full of Dave's ghost pepper. Blaire's Death and Cajohn's Scorpion.

I started felling a burn on my upper stomach which certain extreme brown hot sauces do to me. But, for short periods and always decreasing. My brother who only ate catfish and fries started feeling sick after we went back to the airboat and buggy show. when we got back to the truck I was in agony. I turned pale and felt like crap.

I did throw up several times. I did end up getting better using milk and antacid. I do have a new Glock! LOL

Man! If buying a Glock does that to you I don't think I want one.

Congrats on the new toy and sorry you had a bad day otherwise.

Yeah, no shut, that's kinda what I was thinking....I maybe should rethink the Glock thing.....????

Glad you made it through a "survivial situation".

My brother and Dad drove me home and drove my truck home also. My father got sick on the way home. So, it had to be the restaurant in general.
