    Default "Kelly Kettle" Review

It arrived yesterday. It is lighter than I expected, the quality is very good, and it works as advertised. It is not for everyone. If you like BIG fires just to have a BIG fire then this kettle is pointless. For E&E it is perfect. I wanted it because I want to not be dependent on petroleum fuels. The handle and cork are going to maybe get removed on my Kelly Kettle. It appears big for backpacking, but it is mostly a hollow chamber that can be stuffed with spare socks, etc....... Bottomline, me like it.

I think I just might order one myself!

For NON-backpacking I would strongly suggest the big stainless steel one. I would not buy the Aluminum "Scout" size.

I know a lot who backpack with it. When comparing weight, remember it is a pot, stove, fuel, and fuel container all in one.
I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I agree, I will use this smallest one for backpacking, on my daily walks.

I think i'll opt for the big stainless one as I like my tea, oatmeal and bacon in the morning!
