Thread: Foraging Charleston

    Default Foraging Charleston

Ok, I'm an apartment dweller that's munched on dandelions, clover, wild blackberries and tons of Japanese Plums when in season. The thing is, I'm surrounded by tastyness but have zero clue where to start.

Are there any members in or near Charleston that might want an apprentice or that would like to clan up? Don't make my buy a $50.00 field guide from Barns and Noble....LOL

There are just tons of books on foraging and wild edibles. Few cost $50 or anywhere near that. Here's a couple of links on West Virginia courtesy of Google.
