    Default Our new member to the family....Swamper

    My girl told me this dog just showed up at the house...Well He had some smarts and even though were looking for his owner he found a home and training started right away. His name is Swamper for now!

    He is very quick and smart! I can see me paying for duck stamps this year!

    Hey! Who you callin' yellow? Oh, the dog, yeah. Nice pooch. Run him by the pound and see if he's chipped. They should have a scanner to read him.

    ETA-From the pics; he is healthy and no bones showing. Good tempered smiler. Somebody is probably looking for him.

    You do know that all labs real name starts with "ga-dammit..."...
    Congrats, fine looking fellow.......if it was mine I would him back.

    Agreed especially since we now have a 10 wk. old female Chocolate lab with grand champion bloodlines.. she is a handful. Oh, and Swamper we still have him, owner went to jail and left him to starve. Nope, he is not getting him back.

    Sorry for not following up yet on that. The pound did not have him. I got one call from our adds and went to check it out and it was the biggest Basset Hound I have ever seen. Still no luck. But we are still looking.
