    OMG...talk about not registering...I must still be asleep...I was expecting to see some higheels on the lawn or maybe you had dug them looking for a gas line...

    Dumber than a sack of rocks at times...older I get, I find it's most times

    Very cool, we have pale yellow ones here in the spring...nice to have them in your yard.

    LOL..hunter. glad to see I ain't the only one,,,I forgot to say, those are some beautiful flowers..Thanks for introducing me to them..perhaps. I'll give growing them a try when I get Settled..

    The pink lady's slipper usually likes very rich, well-drained soils; very nice indeed. I've been seeing them in bloom for about a month now in Maryland.

    OOO, Hunter63, are you sure the pale yellow ones aren't actually pink lady's slippers? The pink ones growing much earlier in the spring and actually start as a pale yellow flower- the yellow lady's slipper tends to be a summer time guy rather than spring time.
