    Default Fire pictures.

    Here's video of the fire and the water bomber. I had a pretty good spot but wasn't the only person to find it lol.

    Last I heard it was 900 acres but they had been able to protect the few cabins in the area. They were able to cut a fire line around 60% of it with a bull dozer but had to put smoke jumpers and ground crews on the other 40%. We were lucky in that this area had snow on the ground until 8-9 days previous to the fire.

    Stunning pics. We've been plagued with quite a few wildfires this year. The largest is about 150,000 acres a bit north of us.

    Yea this one is small compared to some of our other wild land fires but then too, it's a lot closer to me then those others!
