    Default A Message From Old Soldier

    I received a message from Don that he wanted me to pass along to everybody.
    Hey crash I'm sending this from my iPhone. I won't be able to post for a while. Took a nasty fall Sunday night and injured my hip. Nothing broken but still pretty bad. I'm in lots of pain and on some heavy pain pills. When I walk I have to use a cane and an doing PT daily. I'll try to get back on line soon. Don

    Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Been doing therapy daily and massage therapy every other day. The pain is somewhat less now but range of motion and strength is still bad. Dr. has scheduled an MRI for monday as I'm not improving like they want. She ( the Dr.) seems to think that the lack of progress is a sign of deeper issues. So as of now I'm still having to walk with a cane to help keep some of the weight off my hip and leg. When I get the report from the Dr. I'll try to let you all know whats up. Thanks Crash for posting my message and again thanks everyone for your well wishes. Don
    If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

    just wanted to give a quick update. Heading off to PT shortly. Things are improving a bit. Still having pain and a lot of stiffness in my leg. MRI results were "inconslusive" what ever that means. At least I'm not facing any surgery it looks like. They seem to think therapy will take care of the problem, andif therapy goes well today I can hopefully go back to work on limited duty sunday. At least I hope so. I'll keep you all updated.

    I also want to thank everyone again for the well wishes.
