I pulled the pork off the smoker about 1:00 a.m. because radar showed rains moving in. I finished the last 10 degrees in the oven. This morning I had 4 drops of rain on the smoker. But, looks like dandy storms in Illinois moving this way.

We had 14 tornadoes hit the state this week. One was about seven miles northeast of me. Three or four down in Nell's neck of woods.

It has been very active weather wise this week. Twice at work we had to report to the break room because of tornado warnings. An unbelievable amount of rain and lightening too..seems the Ohio river is never gonna get below flood stage for long. As I understand it we are scheduled for rain until Thursday down here in Evansville. As I was leaving work this morning there was a very long line of strong storms going over Henderson KY, which is where the warehouse is located. A lightening show as I have never seen before kept me company while driving home. One strike almost made me pee myself..as it landed within a block of my car. :P

It doesn't take much for me to pee myself any more. A long nap will usually suffice.

There is one heck of a joke in that post, but I'm going to let it go.
