Default Got my new Bodyguard today!

Got a smooth 200.00 for my crappy Tauris and paid less than 300.00 for my new S&W Bodyguard with a BUILT IN LASER! Woooooo!
Hubby was very positive today so he and I spent the day together. It was really nice. Not counting my chickens though.

Hope to go shooting this weekend! I'll let you know how she shoots as soon as I can!

Awesome, glad to hear about your husband, hope that keeps up.
you know we expect a picture of the target after you shoot, right.

Sounds like a great day. I guess about the best any of us can do is be thankful for a good day....one day at a time. Glad things are moving in a positive direction and glad your new toy came in.

S&W makes top shelf revolvers. Congratulations. You will not regret your descision.
9mm: Because I've seen a .45 bounce off of a windshield MORE THAN ONCE.

9mm: Because even 1911 guys don't want to get shot with one of my "little" bullets.

9mm: Because low round count single stack pistols suck in a gun fight!

That's a good weapon glad you like it. What kinda Taurus did you have, I have a friend carrying the Judge as a CCW weapon in his SUV and it's a nice weapon too, I prefer a semiauto myself but I can say that S&W you have is a great and reliable weapon. Have fun and remember Slow is smooth, smooth is fast and fast is deadly.
    Beo,
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

    THERE'S a thought! LOL!

glockcop, Thanks! I shot off a few rounds last night to get a fell of it, and REALLY liked how it felt. VERY MUCH worth the investment. I'll post a target when I get to go to the indoor range.

LowKey, I go the revolver. I don't know why, but I just LOVE revolvers.

Beo, I started out with the PT709 Slim but they clearly have issues. The one I bought, cracked after 20 rounds, the one they SENT to replace it was cracked out of the box, the third one was scratched up and looked like poop and I wasn't interested in shooting a gun that I now saw as dangerous. They agreed to send me a Ultra-lite model 85 instead. I shot it a few times, but the cylinder wouldn't always lock and I wasn't fond of how it shot. Didn't help that it was being made very clear that Taurus wasn't focusing on any sort of quality control unless it was the Judge and I wasn't interested in the judge.
Honestly, after this situation, I will never feel safe shooting a Taurus again. I was lucky to get rid of the thing, as all of the shops out by me refuse to represent Taurus any longer. I had to drive an hour away to find a buyer! Crazy, huh?

    I hope you purchased a post-defect model.

EDIT: Never mind you got the revolver not the semi-auto.
