Default My tomatoes cages made the top 4!

A few years ago I submitted a design for folding wooden tomato cages, to Mother Earth News
They published it and I paid for my digital camera with the proceeds.

It seems that they have a article, showing it again in the latest issue.
Sort of a top 4......So if you get that magazine...check it out.

They ARE great cages! Not only do they look easy enough for ME to make, but they look solid. I'll have to make me up some. GOOD JOB!!

LOL, I did make mine bigger because of the plants out grew the large wire cages........and were a PITA to store.
Thanks guys for the positive comments.....See, I not just a pretty face, LOL.

Back when I was on the MEN forum, and had posted the pic's.....Got an PM from Heidi Hunt Asst. editor, asking me to submit the pic's and plans to the magazine.

They work for that as well, I waiting for my old one to die, then will make a couple of more.
I do cut them down about 6" from a full 8 ft, just so they store under the eves of the garage.

I’ve got a bunch of 1x6 and knew it had a use for something, thanks for the idea. I have a stack of Mother Earth News from the 70’s and never had the heart to throw them out.
