    Default Hydration Canteen

i love the speed you can drink from a hydration pack, i feel i drink more and can play/work longer and harder. what i dont like is the weak bladder you store your water in. i had one break so heres what i made. btw its hose goes down into the canteen where i drilled a hole then the hose was glued with super glue then a more flexiple multiperpose glue

Looks like a gas mask canteen now. They make caps with fittings to attatch hose to your gas mask.

They are made commercially as well. Look for the "canteen straw kit". You should be able to pick them up in the $16-$17 range. The kit includes the cap, the straw inside the canteen and a three foot drinking hose. I think the hose has a bite valve as well but I'm not certain about that.

Well, Bee... seems that some one stole your idea, I have it happen all the time.

I also like the way you saw a need, and solved it, congrats.

Oh - and if you think your bladder is weak now, just wait till you get older.
