Default Winter Camping Trip #3 2011

I'm going to put some pics up from one of my winter camping trips with my cousin this year.We built a little portable wood stove that worked awesome, we are in northren WI.

I am having trouble uploading the pictures....It keeps saying that the file is too large.

What is the extension? .jpg, .gif, etc.? you should be good to go with a .jpg file the rest are restricted in size. The only file extensions you can post are jpg, jpeg, png or gif.

Resize your pics to around 640 and they should go with no trouble. Either that or post them on something like Photobucket and then link to them.

we were happy with the way this one turned out, with the stove it was awesome. We had a fire all night didn't use hardly any wood it worked nice for cooking on to.Only used wood that we could break with are hands and feet no sawing and spliting.

You've obviously got a Swiss mess kit on the stove. What's behind it? Is that just a can for a pot or something more?

Nice set up. Thanks for taking us along.

You did fine on the pics. No need to move them.

The swiss mess kit is mine, And the other pot is part of my cousins hobo stove he has the rope going threw holes on the lid so they stay together. The stove is made out of 26ga my cousin did not wait for me before he started working on it,hes not very good with metal or have the tools to work with it.So he droped it off and told me it was my problem now. I did what I could with it and it turned out ok.I even have a lil baffle that turns, I think you can see it in one of the pics.P.S. I've been welding and doing fab work for 13 years thats why he turned it over to me.

    Very nice!
I am trying to figure out what did you use on a standard tarp to keep it from melting from the stove pipe?
    A coffee can?
