Good luck!!!! For me, if I did this and got paid, it would ruin all the fun. I would check with IA Woodsman as they already have classes they teach.

Where is the location? My skills are for where I have lived.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Dual Survivor with Cody and Dave was first announced on this, and many other forums before they decided on those two.

They want an "expert" but offer no guidelines on what they consider an "expert". But you must have "qualifications". Does that mean the guy with the best war stroies wins? The guy with more buds to back him up on his tall tales? Does the loudest retired SEAL trump the loudest retired SF operator?

Dizzy Blondes Entertainment does not know what they are doing or what they are looking for.

Well any body can spend $300 bucks on a fancy web site, have some military back ground and charge people to learn the same recycled Handy Dandy survival info that one can read in a book......Wow this makes a lot of experts.Lmao

Surviving the wilderness is easy, now surviving the wife when I get back. That's dangerous.

Sooooo....... you mean that you can learn as much from reading a book as you can from someone who has maybe several hard military training "hands on" courses? Or someone like sourdough who lives the life? Or someone who has.................. can teach you???

Dude what's the name of that book??? I've got to have that one.
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

You can read a book on building a plane, but it doesn't mean you can or have built one.I made a career out of the military. 20 years. And they were not behind a desk. my DD 214 has plenty of time in the "bush".I think a lot of us that live in the northern harsh states live the life. What I'm saying is that anyone can have 4 years in the military read some books, start a survival course an the average Joe will take there course.Does this make them an expert?

It may be a difficult task to find a genuine "expert" since the majority that live this way don't seek fame or fortune. Most don't have electricity let alone computer access. I'm sure they will be able to find more of the same.
