Thread: Free knife

  1. #1

    Default Free knife

Giving away a 100% genuine NIB Gerber AR 3.50 Serrated Folding Knife.

Reply if you want in. I'll draw names Wednesday night 7pm central time. Knife ships USPS flat rate box at my expense.

    "Why are you doing this?"
    - This knife has been in inventory for 6 months with no lookers which makes it worthless. Er, uh, I mean this knife is extremely valuable and I love everyone on this forum very much. I have 3 more I may give away...

    "Nothing is truly free."
    - This knife is.

"If I win, do you mean to take my address and put me on a mailing list?"
    - Companies do not buy mailing lists with 1 person on them. But if you send me all your neighbors' names and addresses as well I'll think about it.

"If I win, I'm not comfortable giving you my address, there are all types of crazies in the world and you are probably one of them."
    - No soup for you!

and I had to laugh at the price tag: 40.11. I don't think I've ever seen something that costs anything 11 cents... lol

Not to be a spoiled sport or anything but you might consider age as a factor. Some parents might not want their 9 year old receiving such a present.

A most generous offer. I'll let the others partake.

I can resist, no serated blades desired.

    I pass.

Someone else can have my chance.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Good deal, But I too will pass. I think many people are moving away from serrated edge knives....Could be wrong.

    Regarding age:

If you win I'll call you and verify you are not too preteen sounding. Also, you'll take a short quiz on your favorite John Hughes film followed by a trick question about Justin Beiber, which, if you answer correctly, will disqualify you.

You're in! I have the fine edge version I'll award you or Kyra if either of you get it. The fine edge is also extremely valuable, rare, and a top seller <cough>.

    Too much heads up, GB.
If I were underage, that would be easy-peasy...and I'm not even as smart as your regular tween.
