    Default made a button compass paracord fob

    ...added a 25mm liquid filled compass encased in a paracord fob to my necklace kit. Guests can not see images in the messages. Please register in the forum.

    knot is called a footrope knot. looks much like the doubled two strand diamond knots i used as knobs on the firesteel and magnesium.

    Dangit! I just returned the Ashley's knot bible.
    The diamond knot is really just a turks plait that's been squished, right?
    Do you put anything in the middle of the knot?

    It looks like one. However it is not. The diamond is a lanyard knot that can be made with any number of strands. Process differs when using only two and it has other names like lanyard knot and boatswains whistle knot
