    Cool Hmmmm...

Okay, why aren't the Smilies posting?

Kairi: The reason that we all appreciate you is that you're an HONEST young person. Many young people that come on here are not. This is MY version of what we get a lot of times:

"Hi! My name is Numpty Numbskull and I'm "all that!" I love Survivin' & I'm a better Survivalist than anybody in this whole wide world! I learned how to survive by watching every episode Bear Grylls made along with all of the knowledge I could find on the internet. I'm a "Super-Dooper Survival Mega-Expert!" So if any of you need to know anything at all about Survival, just ask me! I'll soon be 12 & I've been Survivin' most of my life!

p.s.: What type of Survival Knife should I buy?

Yep you sound like about 1/2 of the people here. You'll fit in well. The trick is, in knowing WHEN to be goofy, ornery, or serious, and when to know what proportion of each needs to be mixed in. For instance Rick can joke seriously, and 2D2K can be a serious jokester.
Because a survival situation carries an aura of timelessness, a survivor cannot allow himself to be overcome by it's duration or quality. A survivor accepts the situation as it is and improves it from that standpoint. Prologue from Outdoor Survival Skills by Larry Dean Olsen
