Thread: Forum Upgrade

  1. #1

    Default Forum Upgrade

I have decided to upgrade the forum. I will probably start later today, this is going to be a big deal, it is a major upgrade, so it will take a little time.

When the forums go offline, it will only be temporary, but then when they come back up, they'll look entirely different. It will take me some time to get the design back to how it is now.

Thanks for the heads-up. As far as upgrade --- start with Rick and Crash!!!!

Great. Blizzard coming. Forum down. I can already feel the withdrawal symptoms.

Will Rick still be here when the upgrade is finished?

Rick needs a full re-programing, the re-booted, about 20 re-boots should solve the problem.

okay, the upgrade is done... but it will take me a few days to piece the color scheme back together. IT uses a whole new (And unintuitive system).

There are a lot of new features, the two biggest ones will be the facebook integration, and the user profile customizations. But you'll notice a lot of new things.

Can you explain more about the Facebook integration? What is that?

If you are a facebook member you can connect your forum account to your facebook account and post on your wall when you post a new thread here, letting your friends know about your new thread.

Then there are also generic facebook "like" buttons all over.

    It is all entirely optional.

Sounds very interesting. I bet if the ones that have a facebook, integrated when they posted a new topic, this site would get a lot more hits and new members joining!

The search function doesn't seem to be working as of yet.
