Default skin and pelts, How to?

    Hello fellow survivors!

I would like to know if anyone knows how to prepare animal skin for maximum durance, lifespan. I read somewhere to grease in the skin with fat while it hangs to dry. Any information is welcome.

    Yes.

How about tanning your way on over to the Introduction section and tell us a bit about yourself. Thanks.

I've done tutorials on vegetable tanning, fur-on pelts, and I'm working on a series of videos for braintanning.
All three are in the "How To" subforum of the "Making stuff" section.

Anyone can say, Go over there. How plain jane. We are all about creativity, resourcefulness, ingenuity and, of course, bad humor!
